Dhaulagiri I
A cold morning in the winter brought Ronnie Forslund to the top of Poon Hill in the Annapurna region of the Nepali Himalayas. As the sun began to crest over the mountains, one giant stood out among the rest, Dhaulagiri I - The 7th highest mountain in the world. Blanketed in fresh winters snow, and shining through the cold clear sky, this vertical face on Dhaulagiri is one of the biggest mountain faces in the world. This peak, this abode of snow, truly represents Himalayan scale and power, living up to its name which means Dazzling, White, and Beautiful. All captured on Canon using a 45 Mega-Pixel sensor to capture every detail in a resolution equivalent of that in 8K.
