Matterhorn & Dent Blanche

A misty morning brings the peaks of the Valais Alps into a heavenly composition from the Klein Matterhorn in Zermatt, Switzerland. Amidst the panorama of the Alps, two sentinels stand out among the rest: The Iconic Mattherhorn and Dent Blanche, both peaks dazzled in winters snow, and revealed in the glory of the misty sky with their summits breaching through as if escaping from the world below.

- Ronnie Forslund

"This image was captured form my first time in Zermatt, and the Alps, and photographing the Matterhorn was an honor, especially in the winter when it's glorious rock is textured with elegant snow. But to me this region was not just the Matterhorn, but the surrounding peaks that hold such significance, one of these being the mighty Dent Blanche with its beautiful and perfect pyramid summit."
