Annapurna III - The Mountain of Dreams

During Ronnie Forslund's adventure in the north side of the Annapurna range, for the first 3 days, there was nothing but storms and clouds. This being his first time in the Himalayas, seeing nothing over 20,000ft before, he was disappointed in the weather spell that he received. But the morning of the 4th day, he walked outside of his teahouse with the most striking view of Annapurna III glowing in the morning light. It was the most memorable moment for Ronnie as his dreams of seeing a sunrise in the Himalaya, and capturing it had been accomplished. An accomplishment not by his own doing, but by the Lord's work and blessing over his life and adventures.

- Ronnie Forslund

"I remember looking upon Annapurna III for the first time, my eyes began to water, and my heart was full. The glory of the Lord shown around me and I was overwhelmed with awe and wonder. Serving as the turn of the tide in my life, I knew this was the direction I wanted to go with photography ever since that moment. I know I am not the only one, and this mountain, and countless other across the world, have made people feel the same way. It is my duty to bring back fragments of those wondrous moments. That is why I call it The Mountain of Dream, because it represents the turning point of how my life and my purpose became something greater than I could have imagined."
